Royal Africa Aeronautical Society
RAASOCIETY is a non-governmental organisation formed by professionally qualified engineers and is expected to operate in Somalia-wide with its headquarters in Puntland State. It is currently under governmental approval process and is expected to start work once the regulatory processes are completed.
The organisation is planning to set up long term projects in Somalia that shall benefit large population especially the upcoming young talents that would like to pursue a professional career in aviation.

Statement of Purpose
- To provide detailed analysis of civilian aviation traffic in Somalia, starting with Puntland State of Somalia.
- To provide professional services to the aviation personnel in the region

Future Plan
- To open divisional branches at different states of Somalia
- To create local data holding facility for the purpose of enhancing research
- To have offices at major airports in the country in partnership with the government
- To have a close working relationship with the relevant authority and collaborate and share information as well as good practice.
- To liaise internationally if required for educational advancement and form partnership with similar background organisations.
